About

Our journey began in 1993 with the planting of the first 1.65 hectares, leading to our inaugural harvest in 1998. Today, we proudly cultivate approximately 45 hectares of Christmas trees, thoughtfully distributed across 12 distinct plantations within two main areas of our estate. By visiting our estate shop you can select your perfect tree and experience the excellence of a Norfolk Christmas Tree.

Grown in norfolk

Great Melton Farms

Our plantations feature a diverse array of Christmas trees, with the Nordmann Fir standing out for its lush foliage and impressive resilience. Complementing this, our dedicated plots of Norway Spruce add a touch of traditional festive charm. Each year, we nurture between 12,000 and 15,000 new trees, strategically planning our planting based on which areas are ready for renewal. This careful rotation ensures we maintain the highest quality standards and a sustainable approach to farming.

Supporting Wildlife

Eco-friendly practices

At our plantations, we are committed to reducing insecticide use to support healthy spider populations. During the growing season, we also limit pesticide use to encourage other beneficial insects like ladybirds to thrive. As our trees grow, they play a crucial role in supporting the local ecosystem. Our aim is not just to deliver exceptional Christmas trees but also to cultivate a positive relationship between farming and nature.
